I just had my sutures removed today after having allograft surgery three weeks ago and wanted to post a comment on the experience. A lot of people had warned me about the pain and discomfort they had experienced when they had autograft surgery where tissue is taken from the palate but with the allograft surgery that’s not necessary and I would say I had almost zero pain and discomfort throughout the process. I took some pain medication on the day of the surgery but didn’t need any after that. Really only had to adjust eating habits for about four days to softer foods and that was it. Great job by Dr. Gould and Crosstown.
